Ingredience
- Chicken: 1 kg / 2.2 lbs, small portions
- Plain Yoghurt: 1 ½ cups / 300g, whipped
- Ginger Julienne: 2 tablespoons
- Cooking Oil / Ghee: 1 cup / 175 ml
- Onions: 3 medium / 300g, finely sliced OR Fried Onion: 60g / ½ cup
- Malhar Chicken Masala Mix: 1 packet / 50g, mix in ½ cup water
Step For Cooking
- Heat oil in a pan. Add the onions and fry them until they turn a light golden colour. Remove the onions from the pan and crush them.
- In the same oil, add the chicken, yoghurt, and Malhar Chicken Masala Mix. Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Stir in the julienne ginger and add 1/2 to 2 cups of water to create a gravy. Cover and cook on low heat for an additional 5 minutes.
- Finally, stir in the crushed onions. Cover the pan again and cook on low heat for 5 minutes more.
